Leadership Transition

Alongside earnings, Target announced a major leadership shift: Michael Fiddelke, current COO, will succeed Brian Cornell as CEO in February 2026. After 11 years of Cornell’s leadership, Fiddelke brings deep operational knowledge and a focus on speed, efficiency, and execution.
